School-Age Theme for August 2021
10 days of activities
Mysteries, puzzles, questions, and more await curious campers in this theme. What's inside the earth? Where do rocks come from? How are sand, soil, and rocks related? Students may build up an appetite as they consider these questions, so they will also be celebrating three delicious "National Days" - Ice Cream Sandwich Day, Chocolate Chip Cookie day, and Kool-Aid Day. Finally, students will participate in their very own shark week activities and use reasoning, logic, and secret coding skills they have learned throughout the summer to experience an escape room activity.
