Contains
considerable information about the content and structure of
the Fireflies™ curriculum.

Weather Display & Pieces
Weather/Season Display Base is 11½” x 8½” with 42 assorted Weather Cards each 2” x 2¼”. Turn the arrow to the appropriate season and use the Weather Cards to chart the weather for each day. The children will be able to visually compare the weather each week. |

Parent Guide
Introduce parents to the curriculum. This information can be used to help you explain our curriculum to children’s parents and prospective new families. Please make additional copies as needed or print them from Printable Resources on the Customer Support section of this web site. |
Alphabet, Color, and Shape Display Base
Teddy and Tessa Bear will display the monthly letters, color, and shape. The Bear display measures 12” x 18”. |
Number Display Base
Teddy Bear pulls the number wagon. The wagon display is 9” x 12”. |

Spanish Word Pieces
Coordinate with the color, number, and shape displays. Each word is 3” x 1 ½”.

Laminated Calendar Grid
12" x 18" display piece. Place monthly
calendar days on the grid. |

12” x 18” full color game board with black and white game pieces for group
or individual learning. Full color game pieces available to download and

| Numbers Displays
2-3 number blocks per month are sent to
place in the wagon being pulled by Teddy Bear.
Each block is 2 ¾” x 2 ½”. |

Color Display
The color of the month is Tessa Bear’s bow. Each bow measures 2 ¾” x 1 ¼”.
Shape of the Month
The shape of the month is a patch on Tessa Bear’s dress. Each shape is approximately 2 ½” x 2 ½”. Monthly shapes are sent for October – April.

Alphabet and Sign Language Displays
Place the letters of the month on Teddy Bear’s pocket. Each pocket measures 3 ¼” x 3 ¾”. Display the sign language card near the pocket. Each sign language card measures 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”. |

2 Learning Center Materials
Full-color patterns on heavier paper, each 8 ½” x 11”, to offer in learning centers. Activities include lacing, patterning, matching, sequencing and more. |

Keeps provider and parent informed about child development issues, upcoming themes with summaries, supplemental book lists and space for notes. Front and back. Copies are provided for parents and provider. |
Weekly Family Notes
Each
month 4 Weekly Family Notes are sent for each child. They include
information for parents on weekly curriculum activities, songs,
and book lists.They also provide ideas for things to do at
home that will complement what the child is learning with the
curriculum. |

3 Letter Practice Sheets
Traditional
Style Print standard in kit. Modern Style Print available in our
Supply Catalog. These sheets provide practice in
tracing and writing both upper and lower case letters. 2-3
letters introduced each month.

Enrichment Activity Sheets
Each child will receive 4 Weekly Enrichment sheets per month. One will focus on the color of the month, another on the shape, and two are general enrichment activity sheets. |
2-3 Number Practice Sheets
One
number practice sheet is included per child for each featured number
of the month. The sheets encourage children to practice tracing
and writing the number. 2-3 numbers introduced each month.
